“Psalms”

This book is a collection of 150 liturgical poems dealing with faith, hope, despair in face of adversity, gratitude, and supplication to God. It has been traditionally attributed to King David in the majority of its mizmorim ("poems" or "songs"), but many other authors also figure in the first sentence of each poem, such as Moshe, the Children of Qorach, etc.
